Universal Serial Bus, popularly known as USB, has been around for a long time. It is a standard means of interfacing different peripherals to your computer. Standardized USB drivers and protocols across devices have made most of these USB devices virtually plug-and-play.

Else, there might be a clash between Windows USB Drivers and the customized driver of the device.

Remove Windows USB Drivers

If you plugged your device to your computer before installing its USB drivers, and have problems with the Windows USB Drivers, you will first need to remove it following these steps:

1. Plug off the USB device
2. Search for its driver status in Hardware Profile from Windows
3. Right click and remove the driver from the Hardware Profile

Reinstall New USB Drivers

You will need to be careful not to plug the device again, unless you have installed the shipped USB driver.  You will need to install the device drivers from the disk provided and upon completion of the installation, connect the device through the USB port. The device will be mapped to the correct USB driver and start working normally.
